Just right for my needs. Simple, easy to use, basics. You can start and stop any sound within the app, or turn it off by quitting the app. Either way functions well. I have been using it at night and has helped me sleep better. Sound can keep going while I do other things on my phone while getting settled in. It has several nice options, but I just use the basic brown noise option.

Has some interesting sounds like the Fizz, but most of them are only available for a 20€ per year subscription, which I find overpriced. The sounds quality is good. The interface is functional, if not a joy to look at. Works fine offline and in the background, even with the app closed. I'm still debating whether I want to keep it for the free sounds even with having to scroll through all the locked ones. (As I'm not willing to spend 20€ a year on an ambient sound app.)

I really like the variety of sounds on the app and how easy it is to use. However, it randomly shuts off at times, which causes me to wake up sometimes, and I have no idea why. I've been through all my settings and can't figure out why the app just closes at will. 2 stars until something gets figured out.

Actually, is the best app for background noise. You don't have to worry about some random ad playing mid sound. It stays on all night connected to a Bluetooth speaker. (A lot of apps can't) You can mix sounds together and adjust their volume individually. And there isn't a sound I've heard where you can hear the play back loop. I Love it.

I wish I could give it more stars. I like that the audio library is so huge and that they are all seamless, and that you can set how long you want it to play for. I cannot sleep to any of the audio though. They are all poorly compressed with prominent distracting audio artifacts that I start listening to rather that sleeping.

Could be so much more. App has great white noise sounds that are free. Can run them on loop. However the only way to turn off ads is Subscription (not 1 time) or to turn on airplane mode. So unless you want it running up your data or constantly checking in your WiFi you have to repeat pay or airplane mode. Again, great choice of sounds; bad prices. Suggest download free sounds on your favourite music streaming app and add them to a playlist. No ads No $$ No disappointment.

The perfect example of the subscription model gone nuts. These noise generators want you to pay every month to be able to listen to the one audio clip you would use, looped. That is an insane thing to expect people to pay every month for. And then they don't even play through the night without stopping. They are supposed to help you sleep and instead wake you up through the night, fulfilling the exact opposite of their only purpose.

Edit: now 1 star until/unless the app gets fixed. At this point, I literally can not use it. OP: I would rate this as 5 stars, as the sounds are amazing. They knock my toddler out IN MINUTES, and are super relaxing for myself and my partner. Only complaint I have is for the premium version. I am not willing to get it, because it requires I sign up for a full year all at once, and I just am not willing to do that when I might not like it or need it in 3 months. So free version only for me.

Love it! For me, the sounds of rain and rolling thunder are incredibly relaxing. Great app, always works as stated.

The sounds are great and really help me sleep. Love the variety and mix feature, I even bought a year sub. Took a star off because it will randomly stop playing, sometimes multiple times in a row. I've tried fixing it by messing with my app settings, including power saving etc, and it still does it. Very jarring to have it suddenly stop if you're almost asleep.

Not worth the subscription price! "Does the app work offline? Yes. The app will play sounds offline." The answer from their FAQ above, is a lie! Even after paying for a subscription, I was still required to be online to play most sounds. Plus almost all of the sounds are so common, that anyone can get them and record them for free! This app should be removed (along with all others like it that ask you to purchase an automatically renewing subscription. They are a rip-off! No stars!
